Well, that's two winter storms in two weeks. Yeah, and I have nothing else to talk about. It was 2 o'clock by the time someone finally said to send everyone home. The main road home was a parking lot by then. I had to make a couple of stops on the way home, too. I wanted chili for dinner and I knew we didn't have cornbread. Amazing that with the roads looking like this from sleet (no snow), that I still made it home in an hour. That does include de-icing my Jeep. It was a solid sheet of ice in the parking lot.

| For the Locals, this is Johnson Street coming in from Skeet Club |
My complex lot is an ice rink. At this point I have cabin fever, too. I'm antsy to get out but not really wanting to test the roads until its at least 33 degrees out there. I guess I'll try to make plans for the NC State/UNC game until I can get out of the house. Go Pack!
How are your roads today?
Happy Saturday!
xoxo,
Laurie

I drove back from the coast yesterday and it was actually worse coming west than when I got back home. That being said, as soon as I pulled in my driveway, round 2 started and I'm not going anywhere until it's well above freezing today.
Wasn't that bad here. We actually went out last night and everywhere was dead b/c of it! Score for us!!
We had a nice snow, but it caused major mayham on the roads. My husband has a 45 minute commute and it took him SIX HOURS to get home! It was a nightmare. I'm glad it came, but I'm glad it's melting away!
