Another Year Older

I'd love to tell you I don't make a big deal about my birthday, but that would be a lie.  It's not that I want a huge party or anything, but I do love to celebrate my special day. I always take my birthday off from work to just have a me day. So that's what I'm doing today.

I use Google Chrome as my Internet on my laptop. I found it runs much faster than Explorer. I became a fan quite quickly.  And now, I'm an even bigger fan.  When I logged on, my Google homepage wished ME a Happy Birthday. When I roll over these cakes, it says, "Happy Birthday, Laurie." Seriously cool.
Yesterday, my team at work took me to lunch at my favorite place, The Mad Greek.  I get a Greek Salad with chicken almost every time.   They have the BEST dressing I've ever eaten.  If you live in the triad and have a chance to eat there...do it!

I'm doing a little work this morning, but then I'm taking a relaxing day to myself.  This will be the first year since joining that I'm not "participating" on Facebook.  It's nice to get those greetings, but my life has been so much more fun without Facebook.

Have a great day, y'all!

xoxo,
Laurie
