Well, another weekend in the books. We spent the weekend in the mountains where it snowed almost the entire time we were there. We were going to spend Sunday on the slopes, but we have a sick doggie. Gracie is not feeling up to par so we came on home. She's off the vet this morning.
We left around 4 to head up to Sugar. It was probably the BEST weekend to ski so far this year. It was cold enough to the keep the snow powdery, too. It had been snowing all the day the before so it was a winter wonderland upon arrival. Then, on Saturday, it started snowing right around lunch time and lasted until who knows when....it was still snowing when we left just before lunch on Sunday. 6 plus inches.
We we got home, we decided we'd stay in for the night. I'm not a huge Super Bowl fanatic. I usually don't watch the game anyway. I did watch it up until the lights went out. I didn't care who won but found myself pulling for the Ravens.....you know.....because of FLACCO. He's got a new fan in me, that's for sure.
The Lights Out made the game interesting and if anything....gave us the first real game in years. I didn't watch much of the second half, but it sure sounds like it was exciting.
As for the commercials, I didn't see one that just seemed fabulous the entire first half. I was kind of disappointed. I was cooking dinner through some of them, so I know I missed a few. I saw something about Oprah and Jeep and a few others, but I didn't see those live. The one that seems to be the fan favorite this morning all over Facebook and the news is the Dodge Ram Commercial with the Paul Harvey narrative. By far my favorite. "So God Made a Farmer." If you missed you, you can see it HERE.
What was your favorite commercial?
Happy Monday!
xoxo,
Laurie

I hope Gracie is feeling better! A snowy weekend in the mountains sounds wonderful!
I loved the horse one. I know it's a beer commercial and all that but I always look forward to seeing the clydesdales!
Perfect weekend for hitting the slopes!
